The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has released admit cards of the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) today, August 17th, 2016.
All the candidates can download the same from its official website, www.ctet.nic.in
The examination is conducted for those who are appointed as a teacher for class 1 to class 8.
As per the official schedule, the examination will be conducted on September 18, 2016 at various centres across the nation.
How to download the admit cards?
- Log on to the official website
- Click on the link 'Download CTET September 2016 admit card'
- Enter all the required details such as Registration Number and Date of Birth
- The admit card will be displayed
- Download the same and take a printout.
Paper pattern:
All questions in CTET test will be Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs).
Each question will carry one mark each; with four alternatives out of which one answer will be correct.
There will be two papers of CTET:
Paper I will be for a person who intends to be a teacher for classes I to V. It will be held from 2 pm to 4.30 pm.
Paper II will be for a person who intends to be a teacher for classes VI to VIII. It will be held in morning session from 9.30 am to 12.00 pm.
Note: A person who intends to be a teacher for both levels (classes I to V and classes VI to VIII) will have to appear in both the papers (Paper I and Paper II).

All the candidates have to report at the examination centre, at least 90 minutes before the start of the test.
The validity period of CTET qualifying certificate for appointment will be seven years from the date of declaration of its result for all categories.
